Last Saturday we started putting walls up in the bus. We started on the right side of the bus in an area where we only needed one outlet so there wasn't much electrical work needed. We ran the wire casing behind our frame and then ran the wire through after we put the wall up. I would not recommend following that method, the wire kept wadding up and getting stuck. With a little help from a clothes hanger, pliers, tweezers, tape, etc. we finally got the wire outside the wall.
We learned our lesson on that one. The first part of this week, we have started building our entertainment center. We are using new wood which we are staining for the frame/edges and reclaimed wood for the walls and top. We are using the same materials as the couch so they will match. We also stained our couch and window seal this week too.
We always have several projects going on at one time. Even though we do not live in our bus yet, we definitely are already experiencing a bus-life. Our life right now pretty much revolves around working on the bus, but I think it's paying off!
